Add a question
1. Under Question, enter a question you want to ask your customers.
2. Add a Label that helps to quickly identify your question. Good to know: your customers will not see this question label in the final product finder. It will only be displayed within Aiden. This way you can easily recognize questions, for example while matching your products to answers in Matching.
4. If necessary, add more information at Info text. This can help clarify the question for your customers. Besides text, you can also clarify your question with an image or video! Want to know more? Read: Add images or video to your questions and answers.
5. Now choose the question type so that customers know how to answer. In this example, we'll choose Single answer, the single-answer question type.

Add answers
1. Click on the Answers tab at the top right. Create your answers here.
2. For each answer, you can fill in the following fields:
Info text - Customers will see the additional information below the answer.
Custom answer label - Instead of the literal answer, a custom label is shown in the advice with the checkmarks and crosses. This is especially useful for "yes-or-no" questions and questions with very long answers, such as the example below. Read more about custom answer labels.
3. To add an answer, click on the '+ Add answer' button. Removing an answer is done via the menu behind each answer.
4. Keep adding additional questions and answers until you are sure you are getting the right input from your clients. You'll need this to give good advice.
5. Create a logical order in your conversation by dragging questions in the overview to the desired place.
6. Would you like to clarify the answers with images? Read more about: Add images to answers.
7. Click the Preview button to view the result:

Add a 'no preference' answer
If you suspect that the answers are not relevant to every customer, you can add a "no preference" answer. Definitely use this option if you use answers such as 'No preference', 'I don't know', or 'I don't mind'.
We added a no preference answer for the question 'Do you have any specific needs?' in our Hiking boot product finder:
π‘Good to know: an answer that is set as a 'no preference' answer is automatically matched as Neutral, and is therefore not taken into account in the advice. That's why the answer is not among the others in the Bulk match tab.
This is how you add a no preference-answer:
1. Click on a question and go to the Answers tab at the top right.
2. You need more than one other answer to your question to be able to add a no preference answer.
3. Click on 'Add a no preference answer'.
4. Enter your own text here. For example "Doesn't matter to me", "Don't know" or "No special wishes".
βοΈNote: the no-preference answer is only automatically matched as neutral if the 'Add a 'no preference' answer' button has been clicked, and the answer has received the 'no preference' symbol:
Tip:
There are more situations in which a no preference-answer may be relevant. Look at this question for a product finder about vitamines:
For the first two answers, you want to ensure that the recommended vitamins fit the diet. Vegans will only receive plant-based vitamins in the advice, and vegetarians or pescatarians will only see vitamins without gelatin.
However, for those who click 'No', it doesn't matter what kind of vitamins they get in the advice; any product is fine. Whether it is plant-based and gelatin-free, or not. In such cases, choose to make 'No' a no-preference answer. This way, the answer is automatically matched as Neutral.
