How you update your product catalog depends on the import type (CSV or product feed) of your product catalog in Aiden:
Product feed
Add or update products
After you created and loaded the product feed, your product data will be updated automatically. How often that is depends on your Aiden license.
The update frequency for each license:
Essential: dagelijkse update (CET 05:00)
Professional: 4-hourly updates (CET 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00)
Premium: update hourly (CET 00:00, 01:00, 02:00, 03:00 etc.)
If the price or availability of a product changes, this new information is immediately visible in the product finder.
When we have found new products in the product feed, we let you know in Catalogue.
Have you updated your product feed and want the changes to be visible immediately? Then manually update the feed to see the most recent data. You can do that by clicking π in the Catalogue section. Your feed will then be updated immediately.
π‘ Good to know: New products must first be matched to your conversation to see them in your live product finder. Have you set up matching using rules? Then they are automatically matched and published in your live product finder.
β
Remove products
Products removed from your feed during an update are also no longer present in your product finder. Only remove products from your feed that are not relevant to your product finder.
Want to remove several products from your catalog that don't belong in your product finder at all? Set new filters for your feed or adjust previously created filter rules. You can do that at 'Import settings'.
β
βWant to temporarily remove a product from your product finder but be able to show it again later? Do not remove them completely from your feed, but set them to inactive in Catalogue or in Matching. Previous matching (without rules) will then be retained. Read Make products in your catalog inactive.
π‘ Good to know: Aiden keeps a backup of your products (and their matching) for 30 days.
If some or all of your products were accidentally removed from your feed (for example, because of a problem with your feed manager), make sure you put them back within 30 days with the same product IDs. The matching of your products will then not be lost.

CSV file
Add, delete or update products
Are you using a CSV file as a product catalog? Then you will need to upload an updated file with the desired product information.
1. In Catalogue, click the Update button.
2. Make sure the new CSV file contains at least the same columns and column names as in the original file. That way we can be sure we are using the same data as in the current version of your product finder. We show which column headers we expect, based on your previous CSV file:
3. Now select the new CSV file and click the Next button.
4. The product data will now be uploaded and processed.
π‘ Good to know: New products must first be matched to your conversation to see them in your live product finder . Have you set up matching using rules? Then they are automatically matched and published in your live product finder.

If some or all of your products were accidentally deleted when uploading a new CSV file, make sure you upload the correct CSV file within 30 days via 'Update'. Use the same product IDs to maintain your matching.
