To link Aiden to Google Analytics using Google Tag Manager you have to go through a number of steps. In these steps you create the necessary trigger, tag and variables in Tag Manager and send the events to Google Analytics.
Step 1: Set Aiden events trigger
1. Go to Triggers in Google Tag Manager.
2. Click New to create a new trigger.
3. Klik op Trigger Configuration en kies Aangepaste gebeurtenis als trigger type.
4. Enter aiden_event
at the Name of event.
5. Click Save and rename the trigger to Custom Event - Aiden event.

Step 2: Set Aiden variables
The table below shows which variables to create.

βFollow the steps below to create the variables:
1. Go to Variables in Google Tag Manager.
2. Repeat the following steps for each separate variable in the table above:

a. Click New in the User-defined variables section to create a new variable.
b. Click Choose Variable Type and choose Data Layer Variable as the variable type.
c. Set the Data Layer Variable Name with the value of the Data Layer Variable Name column in the table above.
d. Click Save and rename the variable with the corresponding value from the variable name column above.

Step 3: Set up Aiden event tag for Google Analytics 4
1. Go to Tags in Google Tag Manager.
2. Click New to create a new tag.
3. Then click Tag Configuration and choose Google Analytics: GA4 Event as the tag type.
4. Set Tag Configuration with your corresponding GA4 configuration tag.
5. Click on the Lego icon next to Name of event and select "dlv - Aiden event".
6. Click Event Parameters and add the following parameters by pasting the value from the Name column into Parameter name field and selecting the corresponding value from the Value column with the Lego icon:

7. Click Triggers and choose Custom Event - Aiden event as the trigger.
8. Click Save and rename the tag to GA4 Event - Aiden event.

Step 4: Publish your customizations in Tag Manager
Finally, publish your changes by clicking the Submit button in Google Tag Manager in the upper right corner of the screen and in the subsequent steps. You can also preview the changes first.
