New embed form: AI Mode

AI Mode presents your product finder in a conversational, adaptive interaction that feels more human, while you remain fully in control of the advice.

AI Mode has been a new embed form since December 2025: your product finder is presented as if the customer is in a chat conversation with an AI advisor. But keep in mind: AI Mode is not a chatbot. The LLM is only used to phrase questions and information texts in a natural, conversational way. The advice itself remains identical to that of the classic product finder. In short: you define the advice logic, AI Mode provides the smooth conversation.

Your existing product finders, product checks, and package advice flows work in AI Mode right away.

How AI Mode works

  1. You decide which questions and answers will be used in the conversation.

  2. Add extra context by using information texts for questions and answers. These are used by the LLM to give the customer additional explanation in the conversation.

  3. AI Mode transforms your questions, answers, and information texts into a smooth chat-style conversation between the AI advisor and the customer.

Adding AI Mode to your website

To apply AI Mode directly to your product finder, go to Embed > Yes, I’ve set up the script > AI mode.

Step-by-step

Follow these steps to prepare your product finder for AI Mode:

1 - Configure the Avatar and start message in App Settings.

2 - Configure the appearance of the chat in your Style Template.

3 - Test your AI Mode product finder in Preview.

Use Preview to see how your product finder performs in AI Mode. AI Mode is a different interaction style, so it may affect how certain content is presented.

Keep in mind: Do not use texts that refer to the specific interactions of Classic Mode, such as “Click on previous question”. Those interactions do not exist in AI Mode and may lead to confusing instructions for customers.
