The easiest and most future-proof way to match your products is using matching rules. But if you have questions where the matching cannot be linked to one or more product features, you can of course match products manually. Use bulk matching if you want to match multiple products at the same time, read more this here. If you want to match per product, read on.

To manually match answers per product go to the Match tab. Here you can go through each product individually and match it to all your answers.

We show all the product features from your catalog with the product on the left. This makes it easy to match your answers. Do you have a very long list of product features that you don't need all of for matching? Then use the 'pin' icon next to each product feature to pin the features most useful to you at the top. You only have to do this once; the order is remembered for the other products.

The product below is a hiking shoe for women and most suitable for hiking on some rougher terrain. We therefore give this product a perfect match for the answer "A woman" and a poor match for the answers "A man" and "A child.

For the question "What kind of hikes will you go on?" we use the information in the "activity" feature. Apparently, this shoe will do fine on more rugged terrain, but for daily walks and challenging mountain hikes there are other shoes that are a better fit. The answers 'Day hike' and 'Challenging mountain hike' are therefore given a'good' match instead of a'perfect' one.
